Yet another Liberal double standard

When the news broke that the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was a Tea Party enthusiast and was against Obamacare, our Liberal press made sure everyone knew about it. USA Today:
Yet [retired justice Stevens] acknowledged in an interview with USA TODAY that the activities of Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, who as a Tea Party activist has opposed the 2010 health care law involved in a case pending at the court, have stoked some of the criticism from members of Congress and other quarters. "You can't help but wish that they had a lower profile," he said of Thomas and his wife.
I want to ask all Liberals in America, Do you know about Elena Kagan, Obama's hand-picked SCOTUS member? No? I'm not surprised.

Here is part of an email Kagan sent to a law school buddy the same day Obamacare passed -- a bill that was passed on a Sunday without anyone having read it; from CNS News:
“I hear they have the votes, Larry!! Simply amazing,” Kagan said to Tribe in one of the emails.

The Justice Department released a new batch of emails on Wednesday evening as its latest response to Freedom of Information Act requests filed by CNSNews.com and Judicial Watch. Both organizations filed federal lawsuits against DOJ after the department did not initially respond to the requests. CNSNews.com originally filed its FOIA request on May 25, 2010--before Elena Kagan's June 2010 Supreme Court confirmation hearings.
So, let's review: When the wife of Justice Thomas came out against Obamacare, our nation's "news" organizations pressed the coverage in print, online, and on TV. When Elena Kagan shows her bias in favor of Obamacare, not only is the press silent, news outlets had to sue to get the information.

There are two other interesting tidbits here. One, did Elena Kagan lie during her confirmation hearings before Congress? Second, is she now required to step aside for the upcoming SCOTUS ruling on Obamacare?

This story is being buried by the Lefty press -- 85% of all press in the USA is Liberal. I searched for "Kagan" at the following sites:

USA Today: nothing on this story

NY Times: nothing on this story

LA Times: One sentence at the bottom of this story. On the other hand, they're making hey -- in a headline -- about Scalia and Thomas having dinner with "healthcare law challengers".

Politico: "Search service unavailable"
