The Shaved Ape is a blog about current events, politics, and anything else I wish to include.
I'm Don Long, and I live in Southern California. I'm a practical libertarian, as opposed to a Libertarian. A practical libertarian sees some value in taxes and government regulation, and doesn't want schools, police, and fire to be privatized. I lean right, but not too far, considering I'm atheist and don't particularly mind abortions in the first and second trimesters.
Shaved apes are humans. The blog title acknowledges my humanity, which means I'm capable of both good and bad posts. I started the blog mostly to vent my anger and doodle with Photoshop. It has grown (slightly) to something more substantial, but the angry, almost irrational rants still pop up from time to time.
A lot of what I do is pure sarcasm. For instance, I don't actually want these life forms made extinct.

All I can say is that you are propagating pure ignorance and hatred. If you're trying to make any sort of educated commentary, you need to actually educate yourself instead of spouting whatever half-baked idea comes into your head. It's rhetoric like yours that is turning our great—and I do mean truly great—nation against its founding ideals.
One of the things I value most about America is its insistance that anyone has the right to speak their mind. So, go ahead. Speak it. But I also believe that free speech is entirely ineffective if our citizens don't speak out against that with which they disagree. I find your ideas offensive without exception, and I believe I have the duty to counter them, but I support your right to express yourself.
I would be happy to hear your thoughts.

What is it that irritates Jmeyerson so?
What an excellent blog! Glad I ran across it. Jmeyerson is a moronic blowhard!
If you aren't a POE and are actually serious in the BS you post on here then I would encourage you to do two things: 1) Get an education and 2)Seek psychiatric help
