Obama 'defending' extension of tax cuts

NPR just said that Obama is giving a speech at the White House to defend a plan to extend the Bush tax cuts to all Americans. Defend? An overspending, wild government has been forced, by us, to take a little less from the populace -- there needs to be no defense of such a policy. I haven't read the details of the plan, but because it's our government, you can count on them screwing us yet again.
