Obama increasingly isolated

Spain has cut subsidies to solar and wind energy programs. Could it be that these industries don't produce jobs and revenue, as the worldwide leftists claim? Is it a net loss for an economy? Spain thinks it is. From AFP:

The government of Spain, a world leader in the renewable energy, said it has reached agreements with producers to slash subsidies for wind and solar power.

The premiums for wind energy will be cut by 35 percent from January 1, 2013, when the current scheme expires, the industry ministry said in a statement late on Friday.

Obama, meanwhile, is alone in the world. While every European country, and every state in our Union slashes budgets to control spending, Obama is not only advocating that everyone spend more money they don't have, he's doing it. AFP:

US President Barack Obama announced on Saturday the awarding of nearly two billion dollars to two solar energy companies that have agreed to build new power plants in the United States, creating thousands of new jobs.
