Moronic GOP

Putting party politics above the good of the country is something that 99.9% of all Washington politicians have in common. The latest example is the GOP griping about Hussein's visit to Denmark to try to win the Olympics for Chicago. This disingenuous blather is similar to the Dems complaining about Bush taking a vacation while a war is on. From the Boston Liberal Globe:

    But Republican party chief Michael Steele told reporters yesterday that while “a noble idea,’’ Obama has too much on his plate for a personal Olympics pitch.

As usual, a politician -- Steele in this case -- is either stupid or lying. Which is it?
