More no-fly zones

BBC is reporting that the UK supports a no-fly zone for Darfur. Twelve years of these zones left Saddam Hussein to continue his reign of terror on the Iraqi people and opened up huge avenues of fraud (oil-for-palaces program). Many UN members who voted against ousting Saddam militarily were the ones committing the fraud. So why are we doing this again, when it failed so miserably the last time?

Britain has indicated it would support a UN-backed no-fly zone over Sudan's Darfur region to prevent aerial attacks on civilians, officials say.

Meanwhile, the US has said it will have to consider other options if Sudan's government continues to block the deployment of a UN peacekeeping force.
