The fiscal cliff idiocy
I don't give a damn about the fiscal cliff. The nation is run by liars who are being feebly opposed by other liars. The president wants to tax the rich, which will do almost nothing to reduce our debt (in fact, it will do almost nothing to reduce the deficit). The other side is fighting about something that means almost nothing. Bottom line, the two sides, who are more alike than different, are arguing about reducing deficit spending (not the debt) by about a trillion dollars over ten years while we have $16 trillion in debt and that debt is increasing at a rate of $1.5 trillion dollars per year.
