Comical (and tragic) timing in Lebanon

I was amused to hear that the Lebanese government was angry with the US TV show Homeland for showing Lebanon to be a dangerous place. They said they were considering suing the show. One day later (may have been 2, I can't remember for sure), a massive car bomb killed eight people. Now, there are angry protests in the streets, which the police are dispatching with teargas. I guess the Lebanese government was too quick to criticize a U.S. show.
