Walker beats the recall in Wisconsin

DNC chair Wasserperson Schultz said the Walker recall election would be a precursor to November, and for once I hope she's right. I'm still predicting an Obama win, because the polls should be close this fall, and because Democrats are activists, they'll probably vote in higher numbers. I'd be delighted to be wrong.

The left's reaction to the recall loss is funny and ridiculous. They're actually weeping that "democracy died tonight." That is the reaction to voters who want balanced budgets. Unfrigginbelievable.

For years now we've been told by Democrats -- such as Debbie Wasserman Schultz -- that people who want the wild overspending to stop are extremists, bigots, and "want elderly people to starve." I've had enough of that bullshit, and with any luck, voters will agree with me in November. The country has 16 trillion dollars worth of debt, and Democrats want to keep the status quo and make absurd attacks against anyone who wants fiscal responsibility.

Most comical thing I've seen so far is the NYT's lead story: "G.O.P. governor's win seen as a blow to labor unions." Yes, it is, but the headline is hiding something enormous. Walker's victory is seen as a blow to Obama, which is a much, much bigger story, but the NYT can't talk about that, especially on the front page, because that might damage their Messiah.

UPDATE 6-8-2012: Wasserman Schultz says Walker is an "extremist" and “Democrats are not going to just lie down and allow the middle class and workers to get run over.” This is what Dems call people who want a balanced budget! A debt of $16,000,000,000,000 isn't enough for them. They want more.

I cried tears of joy when walker won. I also voted yes on San Diego's Prop A (or maybe B I forgot) - the Project Labor Agreement one.

That's terrible, Walker balancing the budget and all. Fucking democrats, they'll never be happy.
