Politico under fire for speaking truth

Politico's a leftist news site, so it was surprising to hear them talk about left-wing bias at NYT and WaPo:
No wonder Republicans are livid with the early coverage of the 2012 general election campaign. To them, reporters are scaring up stories to undermine the introduction of Mitt Romney to the general election audience – and once again downplaying ones that could hurt the president.
First, it's nice to see a left leaning site finally acknowledge a self-evident truth. Second, Politico needn't have stopped with the glaring examples of NYT and WaPo. Why not go all in, and include CBS/NBC/ABC, CNN, MSNBC, LA Times, and all the rest?

During the last election cycle it was downright absurd to see the left's insanely deep vetting of the GOP vice presidential candidate while almost totally ignoring the Democratic presidential candidate.

Of course, even the token acknowledgement of blatant bias got Politico attacked, immediately, by the lefties.
