My title is misleading, because it's a future headline. It's only a matter of time before an NFL player is killed by running into the goalpost at the back of the endzone. I thought I'd mention this now, before it happens, because the NFL (and government and companies) rarely takes action to help people before it's needed (see: concussions). They wait until there's a tragedy and then make changes, which proves people care more about negative publicity than helping people.
