PETA weirdos: Killer whales are 'slaves'

PETA whackjobs are suing Sea World for keeping killer whales as slaves. Yeah. AP:
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is accusing the SeaWorld parks of keeping five star-performer whales in conditions that violate the 13th Amendment ban on slavery. SeaWorld depicted the suit as baseless.
There is precedent for this kind of thing. Several years ago there was a group in Britain claiming monkeys have human rights and should be represented by their own lawyers. And the PETA nuts have supporters in surprising places. Here's a quote from Bill Maher:
"To those people who say, `My father is alive because of animal experimentation,' I say `Yeah, well, good for you. This dog died so your father could live.' Sorry, but I am just not behind that kind of trade off."
