It's official: Hussein running for president

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Barrack Hussein Obama announced he's running for president (Chicago Tribune). Liberals are making the same mistake they did with Bubba Clinton -- good oratory skills somehow qualifies a man for the presidency. The fact is, a freshmen Senator lacks the experience needed to run and lead the country.

Here is a full list of reasons Hussein should not be president.

Great photoShop, Don - as always! I like that leaf on the helmet! That's what Bubba didn't inhale, isn't it?

And I'm still the pope.

It would seem to me that good oratory skills and lack of experience would be a lot better than what we have now. A slub who sounds like a retarded stroke victim and was governor of Texas.

P.S Didn't Bush do coke as well? That being said, is "Hussein" the best you mein kampf masturbaters could come up with?? LOL

The short answer to your final question is, "Yes." That should be enough.

When Bush was first elected, you lefties said he was dumb based on skill (or lack thereof) in public speaking. He "lacks intellectual curiosity," you all said.

Do you, or do you not, understand that oration is not related to intelligence? It's a "yes" or "no" question.

I already know your answer. I'm just trying to get you to move beyond your Bush Derangement Syndrome and think, for a change.

I do not understand that oration is not related to intelligence. Please back up that assertion. It seems to me that oration must be very closely related to intelligence. While a lack of oratory prowess does not preclude possession of high intellegence, possession of it must require high intelligence. W's lack doesn't mean he's stupid, but Hussein's ability certainly means he's not.

Don, I'd like to take a shot responding to 'anonymous'.

Some IT people are very smart, they know their stuff and can do virtually anything with computers, hard and software.

Yet they could not save their lives if communicating how they do what they do depending on it, or instructing others how to do what they do.

Gapish?

Drake is precisely correct. Stage fright or general anxiety can keep a highly intelligent person from delivering a good, concise speech.

Anyone who watches C-Span, such as myself, knows that Bush is an excellent speaker with smaller audiences. He chokes on the national level, but not with smaller crowds.

As for good oration being a measure of intelligence, I'm not so sure. The Rainman character was based on a man who gives a fairly good speech.

Clinton is another good example. He was a good orator, but he did a few dozen things that only a complete fool would do -- such as thinking he could get away with an adulterous affair in the White House, and then lying under oath and to the American public.

I do recall that he gave nuclear technology to North Korea, too. That was certainly stupid.

Ordering the American military to run away when a single helicopter was shot down in Mogadishu was, in my opinion, pure stupidity. Saddam Hussein's favorite movie was Blackhawk Down. He bought crates of the DVDs and passed them out to his generals and other cronies in his inner circle. Why do you think he wouldn't back down in 2002 and 2003?

I'll answer my own question: Because the Philandering Coward taught the world that America lacks the will to fight.

Dude, I don't want to be an a$$ but Hitler was a great orator. Just watch videos online, you don't even need to know German to be captivated by his speech. Needless to say, that didn't make him a nice or even sane guy.

On a nicer note, Thomas Jefferson was a great mind, that wrote very well but was reputed to be a bad speaker. Hence he preferred to write his thoughts.

Obama as a great speaker does not necessarily make him a great thinker.

You're not being an ass, in my opinion. My only point about oration is that IQ and oratory skills are not necessarily linked. Content and presentation are separate things. Every introvert knows this all too well.

Besides, Obama is only a passable speaker, not a great speaker. Reagan and Clinton were far better. Obama is called a good speaker, but this is only in relation to GWB.
