Islam: myths, misconceptions, and bald-faced lies

This week the world is inundated with news of an Afghani man who converted from Islam to Christianity. Clerics and most of the public in Afghanistan say the man should be killed for converting.

Yet, at this moment, there is a story at islamicity.com entitled "Myth of Islamic intolerance."

Here are the opening words:

    ISLAM happens to be the most misunderstood religion in the developed world. One of the various misconceptions that prevail about Islam is that it is intolerant towards other faiths.
