Watch this Liveleak video of someone resisting arrest. I think the cop is doing the right thing, and I don't understand why people fight the police (or resist). There are times when the police make bad arrests and are in the wrong, but the street is not the place to fight. It's a two stage process -- street and court. On the street, comply with police even if they appear to be in the wrong. The courtroom is where the individual can fight back. Isn't this common knowledge? Isn't this being taught in schools? Letting a cop arrest you when you feel you've done nothing wrong isn't laying down or accepting tyranny. It's letting the process work itself out.
There are bad cops out there. Fight them with lawyers, not fists.
