Oakland shootings: take away guns and raise taxes

Here's what Oakland mayor Jean Quan said after the recent school massacre; watch video clip here.

It seems that in the last decade we've gotten used to seeing senseless mass killings like this, and we'll have to question the availability of guns and the need for other services in our community.

Translation: "As a response to an individual committing seven murders, we will need to take away more of your freedoms and increase your taxes." Quiz time: Is Quan a Democrat or Republican? I think you know the answer, because there is only one party that has a Pavlovian response to everything that happens in America, whether it's good or bad -- reduce freedoms, take more of your money.
