This is the world record run, for a street legal car, of the Corvette ZR1 at the Nurburgring. The record has since been broken by a Porsche with a V10 engine and a Ferrari 599, and possibly others. Noteworthy: there are many good examples of using the false apex, and the driver amusingly acknowledges a mistake at just over 6:00.
Suffer through the advertisement, then watch it in full screen. In my opinion the video is much more entertaining than the GTR, Porsche, or Ferrari record runs.
