More government waste

Another $2.4 billion is being doled out to states for high-speed rail, on top of last year's $8 billion, according to PC Magazine.

The U.S. Transport Department has awarded an additional $2.4 billion to states as part of a long-term goal of connecting the U.S. through high-speed rail.

Sigh. You know why France has high speed rail, and Germany, but not the USA? Because France and Germany are small countries, and we're a CONTINENT-SIZED country. It takes almost six hours to fly from coast to coast at 550 mph, folks. Airlines are the only solution to moving around the country quickly. That's it, close the curtain, go back to your homes.
