Mosque near Ground Zero

Building a mosque near the site of Ground Zero in NYC is a slap in the face. I couldn't believe when I first heard of it. New York "leaders" decided to go forward with the mosque despite the wishes of the people.

Nobody -- and I mean nobody -- with a brain believes Islam is a religion of peace, or that the so-called peaceful religion has been hijacked by a tiny minority of radicals. We're too well acquainted with the speeches of clerics at leading mosques worldwide, and we understand things like dhimmitude -- despite the liberal press's strenuous efforts to misinform.

Remember the famous broad strata reporting from Canada? Remember when the mastermind of the Bali bombings was given a ridiculously short sentence, and then released early, and on the day of his release was treated to a huge party at the private home of the defense minister of Indonesia? None of these disgusting facts made it to the front page of the New York Times or the LA Times, and John Stewart forgot to mention them on his liberal comedy-news show. CNN was quiet as a Hamas mouse on all of these things.

We know that most Muslim terrorists are architects, engineers, and doctors -- not impoverished people abandoned to scratch out a meager existence in desert climes, all due to the conservative foreign policies of the United States.

In a surprise move, the ADL has formally declared opposition to the Ground Zero mosque plan. According to The New York Times, this "could well be a turning point in the battle over the project."

If the ADL's opposition leads to the cancellation of the offensive mosque, I will make a donation to them.
