Another Democrat in ethics trouble

First Charlie Rangel (D), and now Maxine Waters (D). Here's the latest. The righties will be all over the downfall of these two, and that will be amusing to watch. The games these dems have been playing are not the exclusive property of the left -- it's all politicians, and it has been since the ancient Greeks. Political corruption is a function of humanity, not any one or other modern political ideology.

Teasing out the lessons:

1. hate 'em all
2. trust none
3. stop voting for incumbents
4. pay attention
5. raise expectations

Once the bad politicians have been weeded out (a Herculean undertaking, considering 99% of them are fetid), the next crop will either be more honest or more careful about serving themselves instead of us.
