Bloomberg buying mayorship

Bloomberg has spent $85 million of his own money so far during the campaign for NYC mayor. He'll almost certainly win because human beings are stupid. Reuters:

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has spent more of his own money in pursuit of public office than any other individual in U.S. history, spending $85 million as of Friday on his latest reelection campaign, the New York Times reported on Saturday.

If a baboon spent $86 million, Bloomberg would soon be giving a concession speech to a chapped ass.
