California wildfires: Feinstein wants to raise taxes

Senator Dianne Feinstein wasted no time using the California Wildfires as a pretext for taking more of our money. Why do liberals respond to everything by spending more money? It's Pavlovian. Mercury News:

In a letter to leaders of the House and Senate spending committees Friday, Feinstein cited what she calls a "looming forest health crisis" in Southern California and around the country.

She wants $225 million to repay money borrowed by the Interior Department and Forest Service for emergency firefighting activities, and $775 million for suppression, hazardous fuels reduction, restoration and reconstruction.
