Nouri Maliki unhappy with U.S.

Iraq's PM is not pleased with US comments about his government. BBC:

Iraq's PM Nouri Maliki has rejected US criticism of his administration, saying "no-one has the right to place timetables" on its performance.

Mr Maliki blamed the US presidential election campaign for many of the "discourteous" comments.

He's more or less right. Who has the right to place timetables on another sovereign government? Still, the man is deluding himself if he believes his government is anything other than a miserable failure.
