Palestinian terrorists beyond help

A new poll of the Palestinian people shows support for kidnappings and rocket fire into Israel.

A sizable majority of Palestinians support the continued kidnappings of Israelis as well as persistent Qassam rocket fire as a means to pressure Israel to release Palestinian prisoners, according to a new poll commissioned by the Jerusalem Media and Communication Center, the results of which were released Sunday.

Of the 1,197 respondents from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, 66.8 percent expressed support for further kidnappings of Israeli civilians while 77.2 percent backed the Kerem Shalom tunnel operation and subsequent kidnapping of Israel Defense Forces Corporal Gilad Shalit.

Nonetheless, just 47.7 percent of those polled said they believed the Shalit affair would end positively for the Palestinian side.

It boggles the mind as to why so many in the world support the Palestinian "cause", when that cause is to kill and maim. Since the early days of Yes Sir Arafuck, the Palestinians have been the instigators in all their troubles.

If a neighbor of the USA was firing rockets into U.S. cities, I would expect my government, via the military, to completely annihilate the enemy. World opinion be damned.

The source of Palestinian turmoil has been portrayed in the world's press as a poor, well-wishing population reacting to brutal oppression by the Israelis. This is false. Their problems stem entirely from a culture of murder, lawlessness, and hatred. I don't say that lightly. I've seen the video clips of TV broadcasts in the Palestinian territories (big, popular TV shows), which encourage children to murder.

They're starting them very young over there, and it is creating problems for regional peace. I think that if the Palestinians want to dig their way out and enjoy some peace and prosperity, they will need to look squarely in the mirror and stop the ridiculous indoctrination of their children.
