WMDs used in Iraq genocide

In a ruling in The Hague, Saddam Hussein's use of WMD constituted genocide against Iraqi Kurds. Genocide? WMD? Liberals must be covering their ears and eyes today. Saddam Hussein had WMD? You mean Bush didn't lie? 'Bush lies, people die' may have to be changed to 'Saddam Hussein really did have the fucking weapons we all knew he did.'

From the BBC; bolding is mine:

According to the 1948 Geneva Convention, genocide is defined as "acts committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group".

The Dutch court said it considered "legally and convincingly proven that the Kurdish population meets requirement under Genocide Conventions as an ethnic group".

"The court has no other conclusion than that these attacks were committed with the intent to destroy the Kurdish population of Iraq," the ruling said.

Liberals in the USA and their socialist cousins in Europe wanted Saddam Hussein to remain in power, and that redefines the word "pathetic".

It's interesting to note that The Hague and these other international courts operate similarly to the UN and the Nobel committees -- bashing the US is on the agenda.
