Shaved Apes, listen up. Today's Scientific American newsletter arrived in my inbox. In the newsletter was a story about stone tools affecting the occupation of Northern Europe over 700,000 years ago. Never mind that right wing Christians deny that humans had been lovingly created by their immortal, benevolent deity at that time in history.
There's an interesting line in the story that should have an affect on liberals. It has little to do with the subject of the article, but it has something for "global warming" enthusiasts.
From Scientific American; bolding is mine:
But 700,000 years ago, the bottoms of those cliffs were riverbeds draining an England that was merely a peninsula of a much warmer Europe populated by elephants, bison and even hippopotamuses.
Seriously, the earth was warmer 700,000 years ago, then it cooled down. It probably went through this warming-cooling cycle many times. None of it had anything to do with humans. If CNN or the socialist little countries in Europe have spooked you, PULL YOUR FUCKING GODAMNED HEAD OUT OF YOUR PUCKERED ASSHOLE NOW!!
Oh, and, hey, the overall story about the stone tools and early humans was good, even without getting worked up about exposing liberal nonsense. Check it out.
