MULTAN, Pakistan - A father, angry that his eldest daughter had married against his wishes, slit her throat as she slept and then killed three of his other daughters in a remote village in eastern Pakistan, police said Saturday.
Nazir Ahmad, a laborer in his 40s, feared the younger girls, aged 4, 8, and 12, would follow in their sister's footsteps, police officer Shahzad Gul said.

How can one paint everyone with the same brush. The Christian clergy's record has been the worst in sexual crimes with children so should all Christians be labelled such. Please don't do this.
Honor killings run rampant in the Muslim world. This is known. And, it's not restricted to cesspools like Iran (where pregnant, unwed women are still STONED TO DEATH); it has happened in the U.S., Canada, and Western Europe.
As for Christians, after the Inquisition and the stifling of scientific discovery, I'm absolutely stunned that anyone would follow the religion long enough to even have a 20th century sex scandal. I'm embarassed for them.
