Somebody has made a mathematical analogy for the drilling in ANWR. The wildlife refuge is roughly the size of South Carolina. The area to be used from drilling is the size of Dulles airport.
What is the goddamned problem?
Drill, by all means. The caribou can run to the overwhelmingly large area that will remain untouched. We should be drilling for oil everywhere we find it. And we should be developing technology to get us the fuck off of oil altogether.
